Railroads are coming back, they say.
The stations from the past are still here.
Soaring above the wooden benches in the Hoboken NJ station,
this glass skylight speaks eloquently of another time
when gifted artisans worked alongside masonry crews.
Together they integrated beauty and function.
Let us hope that is one tradition that comes back.

i hope it never dies…I’m thrill to see some of the murals here brooklyn. Some are falling apart and some are hidden. Yet, all speak of this city and its complexity… this is beauty for me.
Hope you are doing well. Peace!

Looking back through your beautiful photos, I settled on this one and gaze at it because it reminds me of what I’m seeing outside in this Fall season. To be surrounded by beauty is a great thing, because the beauty of beauty is that as it speaks to us, it makes us silent for a few moments, and silence can be very restful (another function of beauty-temporarily).
